Solid food

Yesterday night we decided to start Addison on solid food. It was only a few days before she turned 6 months, but that's ok she really seamed to like it. Since you have to make it so runny at first it was pretty much she like she was just drinking it. So next time I will have make it a little thicker. My little girl is getting so big.

Stage 2 Of The Swing Set

Helen, Michal, and Nathan came up Friday night to get more done on the swing set. It still is not done as you can see by the pictures. The roof needs to be finished, and the glider still needs to be put on. After we get all the wood on then we will need to seal it with a water sealant. Its almost done though.

Bathing Together

The other day I had to bath both the kids (Dan thought he just had to go hunting again) usually Dan will bath Jace, and I will bath Addison. So when it came time to bath them I decided to bath them at the same time to save time. At first Jace wasn't to sure about having Addison in the tube with him. After a couple of minutes of Addison being in there he warmed up to the idea of her in there. Then he decided that he needed to help. He wanted to pour water on her, that was fine but he pours a little to fast. Luckily I covered her face I was guessing that he was going to pour to fast. It was a good thing that I did to or Addison would have taken on a lot of water.

Just in case you are wondering what the black stuff around her face is it's her multi-vitamin.

Mowing The Lawn

The other day Dan was mowing the front lawn and usually Jace hates being around the lawn mower, he is scared of it for some reason. But the other day I looked outside and Jace had his bubble mower granted it didn't have any bubbles in the bottle, but it didn't seem to bother Jace any. He was following Dan around the yard with his mower it was cute. I ran and got the camera and was able to get a few pictures.


For some reason Dan looks really mad in this picture.

Playing Together

I decided to put Jace in the crib with Addison to see what he would do. He was so cute he just laid there playing with Addison and starring at the mobile, and talking to her. He is such a good brother to his sister. He helps me out so much, if I ask him to go and get diapers he will go and get one, if I ask him to get her a blanket or a binky he will. He is such a good little helper.

Playing In The Tub

Addison is playing with the cup that I use to pore water on her. She does this every night during her bath. She grabs the cup and holds it and it looks like she is trying to get a drink out of it.

4 Years

4 years ago today me and Dan were married for time and all eternity. I was able to marry my best friend. I love you Dan I cant wait for or next adventure together.

The Swing Set

Helen (Dans mom) bought Jace a swing set so we would not have to keep going to the park all the time, plus its just nicer to have one of your very own. Here are a few pics of the work in progress. At this stage the swing set is only about 1/4 of the way done, I tried to find a picture of the finished product on the internet, but I could not find one I will have to post pics of the final stage.

Yet Another Milestone

Today is a big milestone in Addisons life. Are you ready she is sleeping in her room for the first night tonight. It seems so sad that she is out of our room, she is getting so big. I can't believe how fast time is going by.

So Pretty

So today I was at Wal-Mart with my mom and decided to go get some fingernail polish for Addison. I haven't painted her nails yet I really wanted to. It was so fun painting them. They didn't turn out very well but that's ok you cant tell unless you look really close. I did it when she was awake, I didn't dare do it when she was asleep for fear it would wake her up. I am sure you don't really care to know about Addisons painted nails, but its my first girl and I just had so fun painting her nails I just wanted everyone else to know.

Taylorsville days

This weekend we were invited to go to Dans cousins house for the weekend to go to Taylorsville days with them. They have two kids the same age as Jace and Addison. Landon is about six months older then Jace and Kelsey is one week and one day older then Addison. Jace and Landon had a blast playing together. Yes they had there moments, but put to two year olds together and your bound to have some little fights. It was way fun to go and spend time with Jon and Kistena.
