Finally

It took a few weeks of getting Jace used to grandpas bike again, but we finally did it. I couple of days ago I asked my dad to take me for a ride, so we decided to see if Jace would go on a ride and he finally got on.

Memorial Day

Jace looks like he is peeing on this head stone but he was throwing a fit and I just happened to take a picture of it. I didn't notice till a few hours later that it really did look like he was peeing.

A good time had by all fishing

Dan has been dying to take Jace fishing so last week we took him fishing to Mantua. It most likely wasn't the best day to go because it was sorta cold and really windy. We didn't catch anything but we had fun. I actually don't think that Jace ever held his pole but he did help dad by throwing rocks, sicks, and a big log into the water.

Jaces new toy from Nana Barnes

Grandma Barnes bought Jace a new toy. Jace would play outside at the grandparents house he loved it so much that nana bought him one of his very own for our house. Here he is just a few minutes after we got it set up.

I wanted Jace to kiss Addison on the head, and every time I got him to do it by the time the camera took the picture, he was done kissing her. I got this one that I thought was really funny it looks like he is going to jump on her.

This is Jace with one of our friends kids. Jace is actually one month younger than Nathan, but it looks like Nathan is a few months younger then Jace. However if you were to hear them talk you would guess Jace is younger. Oh well all kids catch up sooner or later.

Could it happen again?

Last night I bathed Addison at about 8:30, and after her bath she ate and then was down for the night. For about the last month and a half after her bath she would be down for the night and would sleep for about at least 5 hours and up to about 7 before she had to eat again. Well are ya ready for this last night she slept for the whole night. Well she did wake up at 3:30 and I thought for sure she would want to eat. I always try her binky just to see if see will go back to sleep, and every time she would only last about 30 seconds before she was squawking to eat. But last night it worked she went right back to sleep and stayed asleep until 6:00. She was up until 6:30 and then we went back to sleep. She wouldn't sleep in her bassinet though so I put her in bed with me and she went right to sleep. Then I thought for sure Jace would be up at his normal time of 7:00 sharp, but Jace even slept till about 7:40. I was so shocked that my kids slept so well. I only hope that Addison will continue to sleep that well. But I am not counting on it. She is doing better then Jace. Jace did not sleep through the night until he was about 6 months old, so I really consider myself lucky with Addison.

Sunday after dinner at my parents we were all going to watch the new National Treasure movie. About half way through Jace wanted to go outside and play basketball, so I went outside with him and a little while later my dad came out to play with Jace. Jace was having so such fun he loves being outside.

This is Addison showing off her new head wear. I think it looks so cute on her. It doesn't really match to well but oh well there is a little yellow in her dress you just cant see it so well.

Today we went to IFA to get a spray to put on our lawn to kill the crab grass and they had baby ducks and baby chickens so we asked if Jace could hold some. These pictures really did not turn out very good but you can kind of see the pictures. I guess I will have to take the "real" camera with me every were we go.

Happy Mothers Day!!

I just wanted to tell all the mothers out there a very Happy Mothers Day!! I want my mom to know how much I love her and appreciate her. She does so much for me even know that I am married. I also want my mother-in-law to know how much I love her and appreciate her, and how thankful I am to her for all she does.

Family Pictures With Dans Family

Saturday after Graduation we had family pictures taken. Me and Heather went in on it together for Helen's mothers day gift. It was pretty interesting trying to get the two older grandchildren to smile and corporate at the same time. To tell the truth the bachelors had a harder time listening then Jace and Laurel did.

A bath partner

On Saturday Dans sister Heather bathed there baby at our house so we decided to bath Jace at the same time. I wasn't so sure that he would be okay with a bath partner but he didn't even seem to mind.

Addisons special day

Today we had Addison blessed it was such a special day for her. She looked so beautiful in her little white dress. Her daddy did an excellent job on her blessing. And it was so special being able to see her in my wedding dress. We had a lot of family there that was there to share in her special day. Grandma and Grandpa Barnes, Tyler and Julie, Grandma Haney and Grandpa Blain, Micheal, Nathan, Brian,Vicky and Larry there kids Kim and Chad there spouses and kids, Kenny and Kami and there kids, Chuck and Elieen, Kistena and John and there kids, Weston and Heather and there baby, also both grandma greats were there. We had a great turn out and lots of fun after the blessing. We had a ton of food and a wonderful time talking to each other.

Not Much Left

I had Addisons blessing dress made out of my wedding dress. I also had Jaces blessing outfit made out of my wedding dress. This is all that is left of my wedding dress. As you can see all that is left is the mesh lining and a big pile of scraps.

This is what my dress used to look like. I like the end result better plus its alot easier to store two small things then one huge thing.
