Pumpkins

A couple of weeks ago we painted/carved pumpkins it was way fun Jace had a blast painting his pumpkin. I tried to get him to stick his hand in my pumpkin and pull out the guts but he wanted no part in that. I had to have Dan get the guts out of mine. For some reason the stuff inside pumpkins makes my eczema act up and it actually kind of hurts. I ended up doing some of mine until I remembered that it was going to be bad for my eczema oh well it was still fun. For some reason Dan did not carve his pumpkin I cant remember what he was going when me and Jace were doing ours, but he never did carve his. I was waiting for him to carve his pumpkin so I could post about all at once but he never did carve one.

I am sure you all wanted to see a picture of my arm and hand, but oh well since I am useing this as my journal to I wanted on here so I could remember it.

Getting bigger and bigger

A few days ago I was bathing Addison and decided to see how she would do sitting up in the tub and she did pretty well. I Yelled at Dan to bring me the camera so I could get some pictures of her sitting up. I still worry that she is going to fall over so I still put my hand behind her. Time sure does fly.

More Sweet Moments

Saturday Jace was reading to himself and Addison was playing on the floor, Dan walked by and told me to come here. When I got in the living room this is what I found. Jace reading to his little sister and showing her the pictures to. I love moments like this, it makes all the rough times being a mom all worth it. Jace is such a good big brother to his little sister. I sure do love these little guys.

Waffle

It's been forever since I have blogged so sorry. Thursday Dan did not have to work so it was way nice to have him home, and we made waffles and sausage for breakfast. Dan was holding Addison and the waffle plate was sitting on the edge of the table and all of a sudden Addison reached over and grabbed a waffle and started eating it. I now its a little early for table food but we were giving her some little bits of food and she seemed to do pretty well with it. However we payed for letting her eat some waffle later that night. She didn't eat very much but I guess enough to make her constipated, so we had to get her a little help with that (I am sure you all wanted to know that.) So it's going to be awhile before she gets more table food.

A New Recipe

I tried a new recipe on Friday and it was really good so I thought that I would share it. Its pretty easy and not way hard.

Chicken Pillows

Filling
1 lb chicken boil and cut into small pieces (I just put it in the blender and shredded it and it turned out just fine)
3-6 green onions chopped fine
cream together
1 8oz package cream cheese
1 cube softened butter.
add chicken and green onions with hand mixer

pillows
3 packages crescent rolls
separate crescent rolls. widen the wide end of the triangle with a rolling pin, pit a spoonful of filling mixture on the wide end and roll from wide end to pointed end. Fold sides up towards center to form a pillow.
melt 1 cube of butter
1 box chicken stuffing if needed mix seasoning and bread mixture and put in a bowl. (keep dry do not cook stuffing)
Dip pillow into butter then roll in stuffing mixture.
Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Gravy
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can evaporated milk
heat until bubbly in saucepan.

Silly Girl

The other day after Addison got done eating I laid her down in the living room so I could get dinner ready. I checked on her a few times and this is what I found one time. I forgot that there was a paper on the floor. She had so much fun playing with it, and hearing all the noise it made.

Lately when we have had a glass of water of really anything. Addison thinks she needs a drink to. We have been giving her a little drinks of water every once in a while. But this time the camera was close and I was able to get a few pictures.

Curious George

Today we went with John and Kistena and there kids to a heath kids fair, and we or should I say Jace was able to meet Curious George. He wasn't as excited to meet him as I thought he would be but he still had fun. There was a whole ton of things to do. He got to have his finger prints done for a child ID kit, he was able to get a balloon animal hat, and he got a whole bunch of free stuff.

This better be the only time I see him in a cop car.

They had a whole bunch of snakes here Jace thought they were pretty cool.

What animal is that on his head?

Landon and his hat.

His first face painting!

In the Big Girl Tub

Today I decided it was time to put Addison in the big tub. She wasn't really sure what to do. She was in the tub, and I was video taping her reaction, when Jace came out of his room where I has just laid him down to go to sleep. He sees Addy in the tub, says mama Addy bath. Then he asks for a dink (Drink) I give him one, he takes one dink and pours the rest right on Addy's belly. She started crying I told Jace not to do that. Then sent him to bed with no more dinks.

Silly Boy

After Jace was done "fishing" he decided he needed to put his bike in the pool and ride it. He put the bike in the pool all by himself and got in the pool and rode his bike. Jace has started the I can do it stage. That is unless it is picking up his toys, then its no you do it mom. Got to love that Independence.

Fishing

We bought Jace a Fishing pole set, the fish actually swims and has different speeds it swims. It a pretty cool fish. Jace has a fun time playing with it.

Here he is with it trying to get the magnet in its mouth.

He caught it and its still a moving! (Jace doesnt like to tuch the fish when it's moving.)

Minnetonka Cave And Bear Lake

Saturday we went with Jon and Kistena to Minnetonka cave and also to Bear Lake. It was so much fun. Before we went to the cave we went to a campground just below the cave and had lunch. Landon and Jace had so much fun running around. After lunch we did the whole cave thing, then after we went to Bear Lake it was so much fun watching the boys play and have fun in the lake. The water was pretty cold so they only played for about an hour. Jace was so so cold but he did not want to get out he just wanted to keep on playing. Sorry about all the pictures but I just couldnt decided on what ones to use.

Jace and Landon running races after lunch.

All of us after the tour of the cave.

Kelsey and Addison really did not like the cold water.

Jace was so cold but he did not want to get out so he sat down in the water and everytime a wave would hit him he would say oohh oohh.

I think Landon will be a baywatch lifegaurd.
