A Princess Party

Friday on Addisons 1st birthday we had a little party we had pizza, cake and ice cream, and opened presents. Addy had a princess party, it was so fun to go shopping for decorations. We had such a good time with family there to share in the special day.

(I got the flowers for $5 at Kents two days after valentines day)

Dan put Jaces pink panther glasses that he got in a kids meal on Addy. She looks so funny with them on.

Addy got tons of gifts! Dad and Mom gave her her first cabbage patch doll, clothes, books, and shoes. She also got more clothes, and toys from family. (I forgot to take a picture of her gifts before she opened them oh well.)

Her cake when I took it away from her. She was not happy that I took it away. One of the other kids was sitting next to Addy, and when I took her cake away she reached for the closet piece to her.

1 Year Already!

Today is Addisons birthday!! WOW that year went by so fast. Its so weird to think that one year ago today that Addy came into our lives. She has blessed our lives so much! Here are some pictures of her through out the year. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ADDISON!! WE LOVE YOU!

First Tooth!!

Well tonight Dan noticed Addys first tooth poked through!!! YEAH 11 days before she turns one! That's 4 days sooner then Jaces first tooth.

I was sorting through laundry on our bed. I had put Addy in the middle hoping that I would be able to get a little bit of laundry sorted, before she started moving and wanting to do something other then just sit on our bed. Before I know it Jace jumps up behind her and holds her. He really does love her. Addy really did good and I was able to get it all sorted, I did get it put away right then, but when Dan got home he helped me to put it away.

Now Standing!

Ok so I really found Addy standing up in her crib when I went and got her from her nap this morning. So I sat her down and that's when she started crying. I just had to get some pictures of her sitting in her crib. Then she got to be able to stand and she loved that. I guess that means we will have to lower the crib down a notch. While I was taking pictures of Addy standing up in her crib Jace decided to climb into her crib and have his picture taken to. I LOVE these kids!!!

Sitting Up In The Crib

I Want That Milk!!

Yesterday I was getting Jace something for dinner and he wanted a drink of milk. I said ok and I got the already opened jug. and Jace did not want that one he wanted the new one. Well after a little power struggle I convinced him to drink the opened one by telling him to drink it out of the jug. He thought that was pretty cool.

Addy Crawling Up The Stairs

Yesterday I went upstairs to go and do something, I can't even remember what I went up to do. But when I was coming to go down stairs I found a little girly who just could not stand me being gone and decided that she needed to come and find me. Luckily Dan was home and behind her. Dan didn't help her at all, she made it up about 4 stairs all by her self then Dan helped her get up a few more stairs. I cant believe how fast she is growing up, and that she will be a year in less than 2 weeks. That year went by so fast!

A Fort!!

Today Dan built Jace a fort or tent as Jace calls it. Jace had so much fun in his tent. Addy even had fun it. If Jace would come out of the tent, Addy would follow him and when Jace would go back in Addy would follow him.

Addy Learning To Sit Up All by Herself

On Friday I laid Addy down for a nap. When she woke up I found her in her crib sitting up, and she got there all by herself. I didn't get a picture of it but I will hopefully in the next couple of days.

In church today we got word that a young wife, and mother of 2 small children ages 3 and 18 months (I think that's there ages) was really sick, and was life flighted to another hospital. Then during fast and testimony meeting we got word from the bishop, who I guess was with the family. He called another member of the ward. We were told that the doctors did not think that she would make it through the day. Well after church we got word that she had passed away. So please say a little prayer for the Steel family.
