Curly hair

We decided to let Jaces hair grow out, and I decided to put some moose in it to show off his curls. It looks a lot better then I thought it would. I think we will keep letting it grow I think I like it curly.

First Smile

Well Addison started smiling about 3 weeks ago and we are able to get one of her first smiles on camera. My sister in law Julie her mom was the one who was able to get this special moment for us. These pictures were taken around the 4th of April, Julies mom just emailed them her her so she sent me the pictures as well.

2 months old

Well today we took Addison into her 2 month check up. Everything went great the only thing is she is under weight a little she only weighs 10lbs so she has only gained 2lbs in 2 months, but that's okay Jace was and still is small. She grew 1 whole inch in 2 months to so that puts her at 22 1/2in. She has done really well with her shots she is just like Jace no fever she has been a little fussy. Who wouldn't though after having 3 shots shoved into your thigh, and an oral medicine put into your mouth.

Jace in Trouble

Well a few weeks Jace decided that he wanted to draw which was good for me because Addison was sleeping and I needed to get some stuff cleaned. So I sat him down on the floor by me, and I checked on him every once in a while, and he was still drawing on paper. One time I looked over at him and well as you can see he was no longer drawing on the paper. Oh well at least it was only a high lighter so it came right off.

OUR NEW LITTLE ANGEL

Our new little little angel came into our lives on February 20 2008, she weighed in at 8 lb and 19 1/2 in. She came into our lives just after 13 hours of labor and 15 min of pushing. If I could have all my labor and deliveries like Addisons I could have 10 kids. Her big brother Jace loves her so much he is so good to her, and is always concerned when she is crying. He tries helping mom when ever he can if its putting her Binky in her mouth or getting mom a blanket for her.

Jaces 2nd birthday

I can't believe my little boy is already two years old time sure flew by. It just seems like yesterday he was born. A lot has happened the last two years. By the time he was born he had been from coast to coast he went from Florida to California by the time he was 16 months old. I didn't to that until I was 22 years old. We bought our first house, Grandma Haney got married, Tyler got married, my dad bought a motorcycle and he and my mom went on a 1,600 mile bike trip, and we had our second child.

Giving it a try

Hi all well me and Dan just bought a computer, and we decided to get the internet. So I thought that I would try this whole blogging thing.Well I guess I will start off with something that Jace did I was in the other room changing Addisons bum and Jace was in the kitchen. I had just sat a gallon of maple syrup on the stairs, so next time I went down I could just grab it and put it in the storage room. Well as I was changing yet another dirty diper I hear a bang, bang, bang followed by a huge thug. Jace comes to me and says uh-ooh mama uh-ooh. I said Jace what did you do he just gestured for me to follow him so after I was finished I followed him he pointed to down the stairs where at the bottom of the stairs was the gallon of maple syrup all over the floor well 3/4 of it anyway. I was immediately thinking how am I going to get this cleaned up, with Addison wanting to be held all the time. I am also thinking a rag and a bucket is going to take all day long and it will be a sticky mess for days. So I call my mom to see where she is, luckily she was just at the grocery store she come over and watched the kids, while I ran to the grocery store to rent a rug doctor. After I got home I started cleaning up the sticky mess. After about three or four hours it finally started felling not sticky. Well hows that for my first blog. I will get some pictures posted when I figure out how.
